I am a All-Sweden Champion-fiddler, a "hälsingestinta", meaning that I have the whole county within me, from the top of my head and all the way down to the tips om my toes.

I am a certified fiddler and a folk music pedagouge on violin, with tradition in fiddler music and folksongs from Hälsingland in the heart of Sweden.

From the village Bjuråker in Hälsingland, my musical journey has led me into many exciting adventures. These have brought me some incredibly nice meetings with folk singers, fiddlers and dancers of all kinds and nationalities. I feel that it is impossible to tell how much these meetings mean to me.

I am drawn to music and songs which are "myself" in other words music that has the whole range of feelings, laughter, tears and the swing which I express on my violin.

The folk music shifts from major to minor all in the same tune, describing the mountains and valleys of this beautiful county. Now you have the opportunity to learn to know the music and songs from our home Hälsingland.

I have 45 years of experience as a teacher and pedagogue in folk music and also as a traditional dance fiddler and entertainer. I am renowned and well established in the genre of folk music.

The rythmical swing in the music around the beautiful deep lake Dellen and from the whole county Hälsingland, is widely famous for its magnificent beauty and value.

I am now offering courses in Swedish folk music and old-time "Swedish gammeldance" for example hambo, schottis, polska and more. The basic repertoire is from Hälsingland and also Dalarna, Västerbotten, Norrbotten, Jämtland, Uppland, Medelpad, Skåne etc. If necessary, I can also teach most of the dances from these areas.
